Highway 70 crash in Yuba County claims the life of victim not wearing seatbelt
YUBA COUNTY -- One person is dead following a crash on Highway 70 over the weekend, said authorities.
The crash took place on Saturday night at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Highway 70 near McGowan Parkway.
According to Calfornia Highway Patrol, the car left the roadway and traveled down a dirt embankment where it rolled several times.
The driver, identified as a 46-year-old man from Folsom, was eventually ejected and sustained fatal injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Yuba County is 64 miles north of Sacramento and is included in the Sacramento-Roseville combined statistical area.
