'High Traffic' Crashes Target's Website On Cyber Monday
Cyber Monday shoppers hoping to score deals on Target.com early were out of luck after the site went down because of "high traffic."
The site has since come back up.
Just after 8 a.m., the message on Target.com read: "So sorry, but high traffic's causing delays. If you wouldn't mind holding, we'll refresh automatically & get things going ASAP.
Thank you for your patience!"
It's unknown exactly how long the site was down.
The announcement had some people turning to social media to share the news.
Looks like Target couldn't handle their own sale.

First time I've ever seen Target down, I believe? pic.twitter.com/ObkTCl7Lbv
How much money is Target losing while their site is down on Cyber Monday? They lost some of mine. https://t.co/DTIH0atYcB
