High-Speed Pursuit Of Murder Suspect Ends In Elk Grove Neighborhood

ELK GROVE (CBS13) — Police have brought in four suspects at the end of a high speed pursuit of a possible homicide suspect in Elk Grove.

A high-speed pursuit ended in the Clark Farms around 9:30 p.m. Thursday and multiple people exited a silver van.

Four suspects have been brought into custody after a manhunt.

 

The chase stretched from Interstate 80 past the Northgate Boulevard exit westbound until connecting with Highway 50 eastbound, then to Highway 99 southbound.

Detectives say one of the men they brought into custody, 21-year-old Sacramento resident Israel Santos Dinnocenzo, was wanted in connection to the May 3 murder of James A. Watkins.

Dinnocenzo is the second person arrested for the murder of Watkins. Isaac Leo Rivera, a 22-year-old Carmichael resident, was arrested a few days after the incident.

None of the other three people taken into custody Thursday night have been identified.
