ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - Police are investigating what they're calling a hate crime at a mosque in Roseville.
Around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Roseville police received the report of "hate-related graffiti" painted on a building at the Tarbiya Institute in Roseville, which is on Sierra Gardens Drive, according to a statement.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations for Sacramento Valley released a statement asking for the community to support the Roseville mosque.
"We hope the Sacramento-area community will offer similar support to the families that worship at the Tarbiya institute," said Basim Elkarra, CAIR-Sacramento Valley executive director.
