Hash Oil Lab Found In Yolo County During Probation Search

DUNNIGAN, Calif. (AP) -- A California man has been arrested after detectives found a marijuana butane hash oil lab on his property.

The Sacramento Bee reports that Yolo County sheriff's detectives were conducting a probation search at a house in Dunnigan when they found the lab.

Sheriff's officials say they took two children, a 9-year-old and 6-year-old, into custody, along with several dogs, goats and rabbits that appeared to be malnourished.

Police found about 200 live marijuana plants, 63 pounds of processed marijuana and approximately 8 pounds of concentrated cannabis, along with lab processing equipment.

A 39-year-old Dunnigan man was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, child endangerment, manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of marijuana for sale.
