Local Company Helping 'Gumby' Return To The Screen

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The character "Gumby" is making a return to the screen with the help of a local company.

Stage Nine Exhibits is working with the original studio to create "Gumby and Pokey" shorts.

They hope to use the films at the new Animation Academy touring exhibition to teach people what goes in to creating the old pictures.

The new shorts will make their debut at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix on June 17.
