Grass Fire Near Kiefer Boulevard And Jackson Highway Burns 9 Acres

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — Firefighters say a vegetation fire ended up burning a total of nine acres early Thursday afternoon.
The scene was near Kiefer Boulevard and Jackson Highway.
Sacramento Metro Fire crews responded and started flanking the fire. Flames were spreading at a moderate rate of speed, firefighters say, before crews were able to control them.
A total of nine acres burned, firefighters. No structures were threatened.
