Gas Prices Fall By Almost 8 Cents Per Gallon Last Week In Sacramento
(CBS13) - It might be a good time for a road trip as gas prices continue to fall throughout our area.
Average retail gas prices in Sacramento have fallen 7.8 cents per gallon this week, averaging about $3.06 a gallon, according to the most recent GasBuddy survey of 720 different outlets.
There weren't many changes elsewhere in the U.S. last week, as evidenced by a national per-gallon increase of just $.04.
But they don't expect prices to stay low for too long, as gas price fluctuations are one of the things that are pretty constant.
GasBuddy says we could see some unexpected surprises at the pump in the weeks ahead.
Diesel users have been enjoying declines in 48 out of 50 states.
