Gas leak closes Modesto Junior College's West Campus for the day
MODESTO – A natural gas leak has prompted officials to close Modesto Junior College's West Campus on Thursday.
School officials say the gas leak was detected late Wednesday afternoon.
Gas has since been turned off and all access to the West Campus will be prohibited through Thursday.
Online classes will be held as usual, officials say.
The college's East Campus remains open as normal.
