Fundraiser For Dog Burned In Elk Grove
ELK GROVE (CBS13) -- An online fundraiser is now underway to help pay for the treatment of a stray dog found badly burned in Elk Grove in December.
Holly was found near Elk Grove Florin road just days before Christmas suffering from severe wounds that require extensive and costly veterinary treatment.
She did not have a microchip, collar or name tag.
A gofundme.com account has been set up, with a goal of raising $2,500 to help pay for Holly's medical bills.
Police and animal control officers are still trying to determine how the 2-year old Cairn Terrier was injured, and if it was an intentional act.
