Folsom man arrested after stabbing at apartment complex leaves neighbor hurt

FOLSOM – A man is under arrest after an apparent stabbing in Folsom on Tuesday evening, police say.

The scene was at an apartment complex along E. Bidwell Street. Folsom police say they responded to investigate reports that a man had been stabbed.

Officers soon found a man who had been stabbed in the back and neck.

Exactly what led up to the stabbing is still under investigation, but police say they identified the suspect as 27-year-old Folsom resident Adam Zicaro.

Police were able to arrest Zicaro at the scene and he was booked into Sacramento County Jail, facing assault with a deadly weapon charges.

The stabbing victim, a man in his 50s, was taken to the hospital. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police noted.

Witnesses told CBS13 that the men were neighbors.
