Flood Watch Issued For Possible Dam Failure In Yuba County Along Little Dry Creek
YUBA COUNTY (CBS13) — A flood watch has been issued in Yuba County because of a possible dam failure.
The National Weather Service issued the alert after Yuba County and other local officials reported the possibility a private earthen dam along Little Dry Creek may fail.
Several homes in the area have been notified by local law enforcement of the potential dam failure.
Flooding could occur in areas south of the dam and possibly toward Spring Valley Road in Yuba County.
Residents should be ready to move quickly if the dam fails.
