Firefighter Convicted Of Assault Over Stray Cat Feeding
LOS ANGELES (AP) - A Los Angeles firefighter has been convicted of assaulting a woman who fed cats in his neighborhood.
City News Service reports that a jury deliberated 90 minutes before finding 39-year-old Ian Justin Eulian guilty of assault and battery. Eulian is free on bail until his June 30 sentencing. He faces a maximum seven-year sentence.
Last September a jury deadlocked on Eulian's case.
The case stemmed from a September 2013 altercation arising from a dispute over a neighbor's habit of feeding stray cats.
