1 Person Killed, 1 Injured In Fire At Nevada County Airport Hangar
NEVADA COUNTY (CBS13) - Authorities say one person was killed and another person injured after a fire broke out in a hangar at the Nevada County Airport Wednesday morning.
The fire started around 8:30 a.m. in the Cirrus Aircraft service hangar while three workers were inside. One person died in the fire, a second employee, a female, was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, and the third, a man, got out safely.
Firefighters were quickly able to knock down the flames, according to a statement from Cal Fire.
