Fire Shuts Down Bridge On Mitchell Road In Ceres
CERES (CBS13) — A fire forced the closure of the Mitchell Road Bridge in Ceres Monday afternoon.
Officials said the bridge is closed in both directions after a fire extended into the structure of the bridge.
The closure is affecting traffic in both directions. Drivers can take Highway 99 to the west and Santa Fe Avenue to the east.
It's unclear when the bridge will reopen.
Multiple agencies responded to the area to help get the fire under control.
