Fire Burns In Attic Of Sacramento Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento Fire Department firefighters are working to extinguish a fire burning in the attic of a home.

Over 20 firefighters responded to the blaze in the two-story home at 4952 5th Street. Some were using saws to cut open the roof while others were spraying water where they think the fire is burning, according a Sacramento Fire Department statement.

One resident, who was confined to her bed, was removed from the home and evaluated by paramedics.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
