Police Investigating Fatal Hit-And-Run In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Authorities closed a portion of Elder Creek Road to investigate a deadly crash Friday morning.
The scene is near Elder Creek and Florin Perkins roads.

Sacramento police say a bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle. The vehicle took off before authorities got to the scene.
The bicyclist's identity has not been released.
Elder Creek Road between Power Inn and Florin Perkins was closed for a time as police investigated the scene. The road was reopened around 6:30 a.m.
