Fast-Moving Fire Burns South Sacramento Field
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Fire crews are mopping up a big grass fire in South Sacramento.
The fire quickly burned through about 2.5 acres of a dry, grassy field on 65th Street and Stockton Boulevard near the Walmart and 24 Hour Fitness in the Florin Towne Center.
Fire crews we able to get control of the flames before they spread to nearby buildings.
Firefighters don't know how the fire started.
There's a mobile home park just on the other side of the wall from the fire.
