Falling Rock Traps Hiker In Nevada County
NEVADA COUNTY (CBS13) – Officials say that a falling rock has trapped a hiker Wednesday afternoon.
A Cal Fire official tells CBS13 that a group of hikers were on the Tribute Trail near the Yuba River when a rock came off the mountain. One of the hikers was then trapped by the rock.
The hiker is alive and is in the process of being rescued by Nevada County and Cal Fire crews, the official says.
