Smoke Detectors Quickly Alert Elk Grove Family About Fire In Their Home

ELK GROVE (CBS13) — Firefighters say an Elk Grove family was alerted quickly to a fire in their home Tuesday morning thanks to their smoke detectors.

The scene was along Stathos Drive. Cosumnes Fire crews responded to the scene.

Firefighters say the family inside got out safely thanks to be alerted by smoke detectors.

Crews were able to contain the flames quickly and no injuries were reported.

Exactly where the fire started is unclear.
