Police: Man Suspected Of DUI In Golf Cart; Open Container Found In Cup Holder
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - A man was driving around a golf cart while under the influence late Friday night, police say.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, officers responded to the area of Meadowsweet Way and Park Meadows Drive to investigate a collision reportedly involving a golf cart.
At the scene, officers spotted a man driving a golf cart on the street.
Officers were able to make the driver of the golf cart, 24-year-old Sacramento resident Michael Howard, and noted objected signs of impairment.
An open container of alcohol was also spotted by officers in the golf cart's cup holder.
Howard was arrested. He is facing numerous DUI charges.
