Elk Grove City Council To Vote On Tentative Casino Deal
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - The City of Elk Grove could be moving forward with plans to allow the construction of a new casino.
City council is expected to vote on Wednesday on a tentative deal with the Wilton Rancheria tribe. According to the tentative deal, the tribe would pay the community $312 million over 20 years to build the new resort.
Plans for the $400 million project include a 12-story hotel tower, a convention center and several restaurants.
