Elk Grove Brothers Violently Robbed Of Their Hoverboards, Police Seek 3 Suspects

ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Police are looking for the young men responsible for violently robbing two brothers of their hoverboards.

Elk Grove police say the incident happened back on Dec. 3. The two brothers met up with some people near a park along the 6300 block of Castro Verde Way that day to sell the boards.

However, once showing the boards to the three suspects, one of the brothers was hit in the head with a baseball bat. The suspects then snatched the hoverboards from the trunk of the brothers' car and took off.

The brother hit in the head had to stay overnight in the hospital due to the attack.

Investigators have identified one of the suspects involved in the attack as 18-year-old Jourdan Ware. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, but police have not been able to find him.

Police believe Ware is hiding from authorities with his friends. Investigators have not been able to identify the other two suspects involved.
