Driver Killed In Crash Along Calvine Road
ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Police say that a driver was killed after a crash along Calvine Road early Saturday morning.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, officers were called to the scene near Cliffcrest Drive just before 2 a.m. At the scene, police found that a red Mazda MX6 had crashed off the roadway.
Investigators believe car drove off the roadway, went over the center median, and then hit several trees.
The driver – the only person believed to have been inside the car – was pronounced dead at the scene. He is not being identified at this time.
