Driver Dies After Car Flips Into Modesto Canal
MODESTO (CBS13) — The driver of a car that flipped into a Modesto canal has died, according to the Modesto Regional Fire Authority.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. on Friday when investigators say the car that was traveling on Briggsmore Avenue left the road and flipped into the canal.
When firefighters arrived, several people worked to get the driver out of the partially submerged car. The driver was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead
The driver has not been identified.
