Dog Dies In Fire At Modesto Mobile Home
MODESTO (CBS13) – A Modesto mobile home is a total loss after a fire Friday morning.
The scene is at a mobile home park along the 600 block of South 7th Street.
Modesto Fire says they fielded multiple calls a little after 7 a.m. about a fire at the park.
Neighbors were able to wake up a woman sleeping in the home and get her out safely. Firefighters later found that there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
Video taken by a witness shows smoke billowing out of the home.
The woman's dog died in the fire, officials say, and the home is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
