Disney Recalls Darth Vader Onesies As Force Causes Choking Hazard

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Disney is announcing a recall of a Darth Vader onesie, because of a possible choking hazard.

The garments were sold in 3M, 6M, 12M, 18M and 24M at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, as well as on Disney cruise ships between February and November.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the snaps that secure the bottom of the onesie could detach with enough force and pose a choking hazard to young children.

No choking incidents have been reported

Parents can request a refund on the garment that the child has probably already grown out of, depending on when it was purchased.

The front of the onesie features Darth Vader, a Sith lord who ruled under the hand of Emperor Palpatine, and had a penchant for choking underlings who disappointed him.
