Detectives Make Arrest in Modesto Motel Homicide
MODESTO (CBS13) -- Detectives have made an arrest in the homicide of 58-year-old Barbara Mcclure.
Mcclure was found dead at a Budget Inn Motel along 9th Street in Modesto late Friday morning. Detectives initially characterized her death as suspicious, but later ruled Mcclure's death a homicide.
Saturday, Modesto Police announced they arrested 25-year-old Cody Clayton of Modesto. They haven't released any details about the relationship between the suspect and the victim.
Clayton was booked at Stanislaus County Jail and is facing a charge of murder.
