7:15 p.m. UPDATE: The team issues a statement saying Murphy has been sent home after the incident:
"Although practice-squad safety Ryan Murphy was not cited by police, we decided it was best for the team if we continued our preparations for Super Bowl 50 without him."

SAN JOSE (CSB13) — A Denver Broncos player was involved in part of a prostitution sweep ahead of Super Bowl 50.
Rookie safety Ryan Murphy and his brother were questioned by investigators after a suspected prostitute was detained near the Motel 6 at North First Street and Brokaw.
The woman told task force members she had to go to a car to retrieve some property.
Murphy and his brother were inside the car. Murphy was questioned, and released, while his brother and the suspected prostitute were detained.
Murphy grew up in Oakland. He was signed to the Broncos practice squad in November.
Prostitution and human trafficking are a focus of law enforcement around the Super Bowl, as the large crowds offer prime real estate for traffickers to offer their victims.
