RANCHO MURIETA (CBS13) - Thursday's storm caused flooding on Scott Road between Latrobe Road and White Rock Road, just north of Rancho Murieta.
According to Sacramento County's alert system's website, water levels along Deer Creek hit a record high flood stage overnight.
The waters are slowly receding now that the rain has stopped, but the creek is still more than two feet above flood stage.
A vehicle attempted to cross the flooded bridge but appears to have stalled. The driver is not inside the vehicle.
The road was closed on Friday morning.
