SACRAMENTO – An arrest has been made in connection to a deadly shooting that happened last month in Sacramento's Upper Land Park neighborhood, police said Tuesday.

Just before 1:30 p.m. on November 3, officers responded to the area of Kit Carson Street and Revere Street for reports of a shooting.

Police said a man was found with at least one gunshot wound. He died at the scene. A coroner later identified him as 22-year-old Dayshun Walker of Sacramento.

Now, more than a month later, Sacramento police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Chezvon Paige in connection to Walketr's killing.

Paige has since been booked into the county jail on homicide charges, police said.

In July, police said an 8-year-old girl was shot in the same area.
