D.A. Will Not Press Charges Against Men Arrested In Connection To Lodi Boy's Death
LODI (CBS13) – The San Joaquin County district attorney has declined to file charges against two men arrested for a Lodi boy's murder.
Tuesday, the D.A. announced that it will not being filing charges against Michael Ferro or Bailley Allen.
Both Stockton men were arrested last week as suspects in the shooting death of 13-year-old Eduardo Lagunas.
The teen was dropped off at Lodi Memorial Hospital in the early morning hours of Feb. 2. Lagunas was suffering from a life-threatening wound to the head and later died from his injuries.
Lodi Police said Monday they couldn't find a connection between the suspects and the victim.
Ferro was arrested on a homicide warrant during a traffic stop in Stockton.
