An explosive ordinance disposal team along with a K9 team helped search the school, deputies say.

Around 1 p.m., the sheriff's office announced that the campus had been cleared. Classes were expected to resume as planned for the rest of the day.

The sheriff's office announced on Thursday that they had identified the person suspected to be responsible for the threat and arrested them. The suspect is a juvenile who had no means to carry out the threat, deputies say.

Creekview Ranch School is located off of Cook Riolo Road and is part of the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District.
