Sacramento bowling alley burned in a fire in February closes

SACRAMENTO  - AMF Land Park Lanes on Freeport Boulevard in south Sacramento has closed, according to Bowlero's website.

This comes a month after a couch fire outside the Sacramento bowling alley spread to the building's attic on February 11.

The Sacramento Fire Department found a couch outside the bowling alley on fire when they arrived. They said the fire quickly spread into the attic of the bowling alley. 

Everyone inside was able to get out without any injuries. What caused the fire is under investigation. 

"We're sorry to say that your favorite bowling location; AMF Land Park Lanes has permanently closed," the company said online. "We have deeply appreciated your patronage and support over the years."

AMF Land Park Lanes was located at 5850 Freeport Boulevard in south Sacramento.
