ROSEVILLE — A California Highway Patrol officer was injured in a crash in Roseville after a driver failed to yield the right of way, officials said Thursday.
According to the CHP, the collision happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. at Woodcreek Oaks and Blue Oaks boulevards.
The officer, who was riding a motorcycle, was traveling southbound on Woodcreek while another driver in a sedan was traveling northbound. When they both approached Blue Oaks, the other driver attempted to turn into a Safeway parking lot, directly in the path of the oncoming CHP officer.
