I-80 Reopened Near Truckee

UPDATE 7:40 p.m. — Caltrans says the interstate is now open again.

UPDATE 5:39 p.m. — Traffic maps show I-80 is now blocked all the way to Colfax. CHP estimates the interstate will reopen around 7:30 p.m.

UPDATE 4:59 p.m. — Placer County Sheriff reports the accident is a jackknifed semi.

TRUCKEE (CBS13) — Placer County Sheriff says Interstate 80 westbound is closed near Highway 20 because of a crash.

Traffic is being detoured onto Highway 20 through Grass Valley.
