Bill Clinton Scheduled For Stops In Stockton, Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Bill Clinton is making stops in Stockton and Sacramento on Monday to campaign for his wife's presidential bid.
The former president is attending an event in Stockton at the Scottish Rite Center, then he'll then head to a rally at the ballroom at Sacramento State in the afternoon.
He will end the day at a private fundraiser in Sacramento.
Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton's Democratic primary rival, just wrapped up a visit in Irvine. He's now headed to rallies in the Los Angeles area.
California has the most delegates of any state, so if Sanders were to win the state he'd be in a position to overtake Clinton's lead. However, California awards its delegates proportionally.
Both the Democratic and Republican primaries for California are on June 7.
Monday is the last day to register to vote in the primary.
