Big Rig Slams Into LA Restaurant After Crash Involving Car
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police say the driver of a tractor trailer and a person in car were seriously injured in a crash that sent the 18-wheeler slamming into a restaurant in South Los Angeles.
City News Service reports both victims were rushed to hospitals following the crash just after 3 a.m. Sunday. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The restaurant, a hamburger stand, was seriously damaged but was open for business on Sunday.
The crash is under investigation.
