2 adults, 5 children displaced after fire rips through Arden Arcade home
ARDEN ARCADE – A fast-moving fire ripped through a Sacramento County house early Wednesday morning, leaving a family without a home.
Metro Fire of Sacramento crews responded to the scene along Rowena Way in Arden Arcade just before 1 a.m. Several neighboring homes were threatened by the fire, prompting firefighters to move quickly.
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to any neighbors, but the original home suffered significant damage. A vehicle at the home was also destroyed, crews say.
Two adults and five children have been displaced by the fire, Metro Fire says. The Red Cross is helping the family find shelter.
Exactly what started the fire is under investigation.
