Amber Alert Issued For Three Children Allegedly Abducted By Mother After Father's Murder
SACRAMENTO (CSB13) — The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber alert for three children who were allegedly abducted by their mother in San Pablo.
The children's father was found shot to death on Monday in the family's home, btu there was no sign of the mother or the three children.
Alicia Ortez, 35, is believed to have the children. Hugo Ortez, 12; Merari Ortez, 6; and Jean Carlos Ortez, 2 are being sought by authorities.
Police have not said whether Alicia Ortez is a suspect in the man's death and said investigators have not determined a motive for the killing.
