3-Year-Old Safe After Abduction From Car In Salinas
SALINAS, Calif. (AP) -- An Amber Alert has been cancelled for a 3-year-old girl who was abducted in a running SUV.
Authorities said the girl was found safe and was not injured.
Jacky Valenzuela was in the back of a light gold 2002 Honda Odyssey that was left unattended and running in front of her family's home in Salinas at 5:45 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities have not said where the vehicle was located. No suspect information has been released. It was not immediately known if an arrest had been made.
The alert was for Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, Fresno, Kings, and San Luis Obispo Counties.
