Amazon Adding 700 Jobs To Tracy Fulfillment Center

TRACY (CBS13) — Amazon is expanding its Tracy facility with more than 700 full-time positions, the company announced on Thursday.

The openings are in addition to 100 the company announced in March.

"I like it being busy here," said cashier Jessica Lirio. "They're nice people and they always order a lot of food."

"Not blown-away surprised, but happily surprised that some of our expectations are coming to fruition," he said.

An Amazon spokesman says the company expects a good mix of Tracy locals and outsiders to apply.
