Actor Alan Rickman Dies At 69 After Battle With Cancer
LOS ANGELES (CBS13) – British actor Alan Rickman has died after a battle with cancer.
The 69-year-old is well known for his role in the "Harry Potter" films as dark arts teacher Severus Snape.
J.K. Rowling, author of the "Harry Potter" books, tweeted her thoughts about Rickman's death.
There are no words to express how shocked and devastated I am to hear of Alan Rickman's death. He was a magnificent actor & a wonderful man.
