200 Firefighters Battling Vegetation Fire In Vacaville
VACAVILLE (CBS13) - Two hundred firefighters from multiple agencies are battling a fast-moving vegetation fire in Vacaville.
The 90-acre Sky Fire is reportedly burning in the area of Mix Canyon Road and Sky Ranch Lane, about six miles northeast of downtown Vacaville. It is 5 percent contained.
The fire started at 10:40 a.m. and was caused by a vehicle, according to a Cal Fire spokesperson. It is burning in an area of very steep terrain.
No evacuations have been ordered, but 10 structures -- some homes -- are threatened.
Mix Canyon Road is closed to traffic.
