3 People Quickly Rescued After Avalanche In Alpine Meadows
ALPINE MEADOWS (CBS13) - An avalanche buried a couple of cars and damaged a building in the Alpine Meadows area.
The incident happened a little before 8 a.m. Thursday. North Tahoe Fire says one of their crews responded to the scene and found that two cars had been buried.

Three people were quickly rescued and no injuries have been reported, North Tahoe Fire says.
Emergency crews are at the scene and the roadway is closed. Due to the high risk of avalanches in the area, people are being asked to avoid the area.
Alpine Meadows will be closed for the rest of the day due to the avalanche danger, Squaw Alpine says.
