The entire route covers 420 miles.
The officers trade off running every 20 miles. The run is in honor of those killed in the line of duty.
"Running up to the Police Memorial seemed fitting enough, given the recent police deaths in the country," Tudor said.
The officers are expected to arrive in Sacramento on Dec. 8.
