1 person dies after being shot in Stockton
STOCKTON -- An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Stockton, according to Stockton Police Department.
The incident took place on the night of April 24 at approximately 8 p.m. along the 4500 block of Romano Drive at Rose Marie lane.
The 40-year-old victim was driving in the area when the suspect fired multiple shots at his vehicle. The victim was hospitalized in critical condition but has since died from his injuries.
There is currently no information on the motive or suspect.
Stockton is a city on the San Joaquin River, in California's Central Valley, and is about 49 miles south from Sacramento.
