First Alert Weather: Series of storms move across California

CBS News Sacramento

As a series of storms moves across California, residents should be prepared for possible hazards including power outages, road flooding/closures, and landslides.

Check current weather conditions and take necessary precautions, such as having an emergency kit on hand and being aware of evacuation routes.

Years of severe drought and multiple wildfires' burns scars make regions of California susceptible to mudslides and flash floods.
