Youth Turkey Season Begins, Season Opens To All Hunters Next Saturday

HARRISBURG (KDKA) -- Young hunters can get a jump start on the spring gobbler season this morning.

Today, there's a special hunt for junior license holders and mentored hunters under 16 years old.

The season opens to all hunters next saturday.

Last year, an estimated 34,000 turkeys were harvested.
