Woman dies after being hit by vehicle in Jefferson Hills Borough
JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. (KDKA) -- A 26-year-old woman died after she was hit by a vehicle along Rt. 837 in Jefferson Hills Borough.
The crash happened on Wednesday evening just after 7:30 p.m. near the Shop 'N Go Deli store.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office says that 26-year-old Jessica Schroeder died at the hospital.
It's unclear if the driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene or if any charges are expected to be filed.
The medical examiner's office didn't specify which police agency is handling the investigation into the deadly crash.
